International Days Celebration

1st Oct INTERNATIONAL MUSIC DAY

International Music Day resonates globally every October 1, honoring music’s profound ability to connect cultures and uplift spirits. Declared by the International Music Council in 1974, this day encourages everyone to appreciate the diverse forms and unifying power of music. Actively listen to new genres, attend a local concert, or share your favorite tunes with friends. The intention of this day is to encourage:

• The promotion of our musical art among all sections of society;
• The application of the UNESCO ideals of peace and friendship between peoples, of the evolution of their cultures, of the exchange of experience and of the mutual appreciation of their aesthetic values;
• To allow children and adults to express themselves freely through music.
• To give opportunities for children and adults to learn musical skills and languages.
• To provide access to musical involvement for all.
• To allow musical artists to develop and communicate through media and using proper facilities.
• For musical artists to obtain recognition and fair remuneration for their work.

ABSS will be organizing very soon the International Music Day considering the above aims.

Dance is an expression of soul and it is proved to have therapeutics properties as well. It speaks to earth and heaven. Dance live within all that live.

The International Dance Day which is celebrated all over the world on 29th April is an opportunity to spread the knowledge of dance including its purpose & role in our life.

ABSS’s Global Council Of Art & Culture  ( GCAC)  and CID ( Unesco) celebrates “NRITYOTSAV” an dance programme of classical/ traditional folk arts on the eve of 29th April 2013.

International Dance Day is celebrated to  revel in the depth of these arts forms , cross all cultural barriers and bring people together with an common language- which everyone can easily understand ie Dance and provide a proper place for adnce in all the systems of Education.

On this eve, ABSS’s Global Council Of Art & Culture felicitated with some special awards to the well  known renowned Gurus/teachers who have given their contribution in the field of dance & have helped to spread the message of dance throughout the world . They were honoured with the title of “NRITYAGAURAV AWARD” .

Moreover some dance institutes, young talented creative performers , choreographers  who are trying hard to maintain & increase the awareness of dance showcasing them in their respective dance field were also felicitated to encourage them in their work of dance.

ABSS’s Global Council Of Art & Culture will always serve International Dance Day  as Day  to provide the platform for the flowering of the human spirit which is the dance.

Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh ,an Cultural NGO is  working among all age groups of artists .People across all arts come together to learn, connect & share.

Artists gather under one shelter of ABSS ,to give & take the different varied art forms , exchange cultural arts  .

ON THIS WORLD ARTIST DAY since 22 years max.8000 artists  every year are participating in some National Forums organized by ABSS to promote Cultural Diversity through varied arts.

On this day participating artists from all over India gather together to have merit of their performance conducted. They showcase their respective art form throughout 10 days before this day. And now on 1st June which is THE WORLD ARTIST DAY declared by Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh, performing artists are to be awarded for their best .

The winners are felicitated with different prizes, certificate of merit. Some special awards are also honored to the upcoming artists working hard to put their art in practice in the society and creating awareness of the varied arts among their art friends, circles, students. They are honoured Titled with different awards like- Nrityashree , Natyashree & Yuva Ratnam awards.

The eminent personalities  /individuals for their lifetime achievement , creation in the field of performing arts are honored and given some title- Nrutya Gaurav Awards, Nritya Nivedita Awards, Yuva Netrutva Awards, Art Of Excellence Awards, Sangeet Kala Sadhan Awards, Nritya Kala Sadhana Awards, Nritya Sadhana Awards.

Overall Total 1200 prizes & awards are distributed every year on 1st June- World artist day.

Artists are the pillars of our society , who are trying to make the society aware of art & Culture by exposing themselves in this art world, trying to merge with the cultural arts and creating a sense of  Unity in Cultural Diversity & spreading this wave of Diversity through their art forms all over the creative world.
